There was such a huge response after the last episode around permission that I decided to do a three part series on the topic.
I haven’t really spoken publicly before about permission and my journey to find it so you’ll probably still hear some trepidation in my voice. That’s just the sound of me still figuring this out and of being vulnerable in sharing it for the first time.
What the heck is permission anyways?
And why should anyone care about it?
So glad you asked.
Permission is one of the things I have most been lacking from my life. It is the number one biggest lesson that I think I’ve had to learn. Not just in regard to parenting, but in being a healthy human being as well.
I want you to give yourself all kinds of permission. It has truly changed my life.
But first we have to understand what it is.
On today’s episode I talk discuss:
-
What permission is as a child vs. what it starts to mean as an adult
-
Why giving yourself permission is important
-
and what I had for lunch the other day that I feel certain I did not have permission to eat
After listening, comment below or email me (info@parentswho.com) and tell me what you are most needing permission to do or to not do. I read every email and I will write you back.
Thank you in advance for being on this journey with me.
