Today we continue with the three part series on giving yourself permission. (Part I here)
Though I have been working on this topic for almost two years now, this is the first time I have spoken publicly about it.
If this episode sounds like I’m driving all over the road, it’s because I am a bit.
Bear with me as I try to figure out how to best share what I’ve been learning.
Do you struggle to give yourself permission? Do you want to do things differently but just become paralyzed as soon as you start trying?
When I first attepted to write myself permission slips I encountered tons of barriers.
Barriers that seemed (and still sometimes seem) insurmountable.
Just because you hit barriers does not mean you are doing anything wrong.
More often than not it means you are probably on the right path.
You are not alone with these obstacles.
On today’s episode I talk discuss:
-
All the things that get in the way when I’m trying to issue myself permission
-
My personal fears and the noise in my head that gets really loud when I try to do things differently
-
How my narrow definitions impede my possibility for happiness
After listening I would love to know, “What is the biggest obstacle you face when trying to give yourself permission?”

I read every email and I will write you back.
