Yes that is really me.
Yes I really ran down a hill and then jumped off of the side of a mountain.
And it was incredible.
Since recording the last episode, I’ve been feeling scared. And frustrated. Not sure what subject I wanted to tackle next.
But luckily for me, inspiration was sitting right on my external hard drive.
Seeing this video of me was just the reminder I needed to be brave, record this episode and then share it with you.
I don’t know everything about you. Not even enough to really help you with all your parenting, marriage, or self problems.
But what I CAN do, is show you how I’m dealing with mine. Show you my process. My strategies, tools, resources.
It’s definitely a vulnerable place, but I know from experience that vulnerability is courage. And I value courage over fear.
So in that spirit, on today’s episode I talk discuss:
-
What the strongest predictor of how your child will do is
-
How to convert shame into curiosity
-
How I’m fighting my battles and attempting to raise healthy, wholehearted children in the process
-
and why sometimes you have to run downhill in order to fly
