Somtimes you just need to not be okay.
You need to not rush to things being better.
Staying in that low feeling is counterintuitive, but it’s where I’ve found the best, longest lasting solutions lie.
The kids walk in as I’m recording today’s episode and I decided to leave it in.
Just further proof that I am not perfect, and I do not have time management, boundaries, etc. all figured out.
If you’ll let me, I would like to help you sit in the uncomfortable space of “it’s not fine” so that we may later get to “I’m okay.”
And not just any okay. But a real, sustainable okay.
So in that spirit, on today’s episode:
-
Three small children come ambling in
-
I share how I thought I had ruined my life
-
Why I don’t want you to tell me it’s fine
-
and how staying in “not fine” can lead to “I’m good”
